A Summary Of Rain's Path Along The Years

Having too much free time since today is an off day for my part time job.

Instead of starring blankly at the computer screen, I decided to write a blog on Rain with photos from his childhood until now~

I'm not clear with the year which this photo is taken. Probably around the age of 6-10 years old.

Hey~ The small boy in front with the mushroom hair cut is Rain! Anggugu~~~ Haha. The girl beside him is his younger sister Hana.

This is his beloved mother. She passed away when he was 18. Both his mother and himself look alike. The face shape, the eyes , the lips. He looks much like his mother.

These are taken in his teens.

Comparing with the Rain today, both still have a lot of resemblance.

Like his electrocuting eyes, his nose and the lips.

The only difference is these look younger and more of a teenager's style while today, he shows more manhood, taller and stronger and mature...

The 16 year old Rain.

He started off his entertainer carrer by involving in a hip hop group call Fan Club during his teens. At that time, he doesn't sing much but he play more of a role as a rapper.

2002, he released his very first album " Bad Guy ". He is 20 years old by then.

Aiyaya~ sexy~

2003, he took part In " Sangdoo, Let's Go To School! " and be the lead actor in the drama as Sangdoo. He also came out with the second album " How To Escape From The Sun ". He was 21 years old.

In 2004, he make a big hit in Asia with his drama " Full House". He also came out with the popular 3rd album of his, " It's Raining ". He was just a mere 22 year old that time.

The 23 yeard old Rain. 2005, he took the lead role in " A Love To Kill " which is a sad ending drama. He acts as a bodyguard that fall in love with a girl he is not suppose to love.

2006, this 24 year old came out with a Pantech MV singing in chinese to promote Pantech Handphone brand.

He also advertise for Giordano in 2006 together with another hot star, Jang Dong Gun.

Around october of 2006, he came out with the 4th album " Rain's World " which receive good response from the public.

He also brought up a Rain's World Tour 2006/2007. He had been holding concerts in both asia and the western. Malaysia's RWT concert drops on the 27.1.2007. It becomes so much of a historical day in my life! As what Pn. Wu (retired) of SMKSU said on the next monday after the event, " KL is flooded last Saturday because there was a heavy Rain!"

In Japan.

2007, he came out with a punk haircut that made the public paid even more attention on him. During that period, I even saw some form 5 boys (that time I'm form 4) went for haircut that looks like this. But I must said theirs looks rather yucky compare to this.

He was 25 that year....

He had a haircut after that. This was taken in Berlin's Film Fest with Im Su-Jeong. Both of them attended the award giving ceremony for " I'm A Cyborg , But That's Ok" in Berlin, Germany.

So many fans around to cheer for him on that day! How I wish I was there.

He said he always like to have daughters. ^.^

He was invited to Valencia Louis Vuitton Cup Yatch Competition celebration party.

Rain went for audition to act in " Speed Racer ". He play Taejo In " Speed Racer ", a hollywood film by the Wachoski borthers. The movie is released on 8.5.2008 in cinemas last year. I was very nervous for every second whenever he was on the screen!

He came out with these (there are more) booming pictures that makes the fan drool!

13 February 2008, he signed contract with William Morris Agency, Hollywood talent agency that represents many well-known performers and filmmakers. He was 26 .

Advertise for Nikon. His hair went even longer. Why did he wanted to keep his hair long? Of course, there's always at least a reason behind everything....

Rain met Stephen Colbert. They had a hilarious dance off!

In " Speed Racer " premiere show.

He went for training in USA for his new film " Ninja Assasin " which he plays lead role as Raizo!

After  3 months of hardship training with the trainer for actors in " 300", his muscular body even more shown out!

Ya! That's the point! He kept his hair long for the coming soon movie " Ninja Assasin ". It's coming soon on the screens on 1st of June 2009 in USA. I think Malaysia is just around the corner...

Rain in 2008 Japan Fan Meeting conference.

He cut his hair a bit shorter. We call him mushroom head and since then the forums are full of the mushrooms cartoon GIFs! haha.

He left big impact and surprised every fan with his new hairstyle in Samsung Beijing Olympic Conference!  

24.8.2008. Performing with various artists including LeeHom & Kelly Chen in Beijing Olympic Closing Ceremony. " Beijing Beijing Wo Ai Beijing".

New song " Love Story " came out! The popular, hot and sizzling Ha Ji Won play lead actress in the MV.

Fifth album " Rainism " is released on 15.10.2008 in Korea. I get myself a piece of this IMPORTED FROM KOREA after a few days away from the releasing date! Shiok!

He launched Six To Five Collection on 23rd Dec 2008 in Ilsan, Seoul.

Besides having models cat walking, he also held a mini concert during the event.

Even though he is just 27 this year, but he has his very own companies J.Tune Entertainment Company and Six To Five Fashion Line. It is said that he is goin' to launch a cafeteria soon in Seoul.

He also told the media he will introduce a female star which can sing and dance in April 2009, a hip hop girl group of 3 and a male group of 5 which are under his company.
